What is the best portable satellite radio?
Little_Boy posted a topic for discussion about "Do you carry FM radio with you? " Which reminded me of a gift I'm planning to buy soon for a friends birthday. I'd like to buy a Satellite Radio and I was wonder what is the best in your opinion? I'll buy a portable one that can be carried everywhere but I'm not sure about the brand and the best specification I should get. It is not that I can not go over reviews but in reading reviews of ppl who already bought it but they will say what they want to say:D If you know what I mean. I think MyLotter will give me better ideas and opinions. Thanks
Sirius/XM satellite radio changeover - anybody else dissatisfied?
I know this has probably been in the works for awhile but just the other day I notice my presets on my stereo are now not sounding just quite right. I guess Sirius and XM have actually merged now, and so what, they had to remove some stations or uh.. 'combine' them? Rename them?Do you subscribe to Sirius or XM? What's your take on this? Was XM going bankrupt or something? FTR I was and am a Sirius subscriber. I like satellite radio because I can fill my presets with music of various genres and avoid talk, djs, commercials, and did I say talk? I think this combo with XM has turned some of my favorite channels into talk. I am grouchy.[em]thumbdown[/em]
Satellite radio do you have it? Would you consider getting it?
With so many bills and paying for cable, I just can't see paying to listen to the radio especially in the car? Is it worth it?
How many people have XM satellite radio and/or sirius satellite radio?
Hey mylotters I was just curious how many people here have either XM radio or Sirius radio. I have had XM radio for a few years now and me and my whole family love it. We all have our favorite channels that we listen to. I just love the fact that if I want to listen to something different for a change I can listen to any genre of music I can think of. I cant believe that its taking for long for the merger of XM and Sirius to actually happen. I am anxious about whats in store for the future of satellite programing. Im pretty sure that the best of both Sirius and XM will be integrated together but it is scary not knowing. I hope that some people that have XM radio find this discussion I really want some input about what people think. I have XM hooked directly into my sat ready cd player in my truck its so convenient to have so much variety of music right at my finger tips:D:D:D
Does anyone here have Sirius Satellite Radio...?
I have Sirius Satellite Radio.I think that it is SO MUCH BETTER than regular radio. So much more selection.I just Love the "Chill Channel".Alot of Trancefull Hypnotic style tunes on that particular channel.I listen to other channels of course but i think "Chill" is the best in my opinion.
Sirius Satellite Radio for music or Howard Stern??
I am a sirius subscriber and there is so much music to choose from. I am wondering what is everyone who subscribes favorit channels out there. Mine is heart attack and Buzz saw. The comedy channels are amazing as well and I am a huge Howard Stern fan which is why I got it in the first place. What is your favorite channel?
XM Satellite Radio
Do any of you have XM satellite radio? I bought a new car and it had XM free for 3 months. My subscription just ran out and we are not going to renew it. I kind of miss it. How many of you enjoy XM radio?
What's Your Opinion of Satellite Radio?
I've been noticing more commercials for sirius & x satellite radio-curiosly there selling point is they are commercial free but the feel the need to utilize commercials to promote. Anyhoo, do any of y'all have satellite radio? Personally I would never own it b/c it's bad enough I have to pay for decent TV & if we all cave in on satellite radio before you know it a decent radio station won't be free anymore either. Please share y'alls thoughts.
Satellite Radio
Hello all!I am writing to ask about satellite radio. I do know that it is a subscription service and I believe it is commercial free. Does anyone on myLot have satellite radio? Is it better than AM/FM? Does anyone know more about this? I am seriously considering it but I find here locally are sales personnel who don't really know much about it (probably because they don't subscribe to it). Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Ipod, radio, satellite radio, other?
What do you use most often to listen to music? I would say I use my ipod and satellite radio most often.I have XM and I am a little annoyed at how many commercials they have. I thought satellite radio wasn't supposed to have commercials?
